We are pleased to share that, Go-Ahead London won the award for the Best Apprenticeship in Transport at The Apprenticeship Guide Awards.
We also celebrated the accomplishment of Koli Begum, a dedicated colleague who was a finalist for the “Mentor of the Year” at this year’s Apprenticeship Guide Awards. She is now dedicated to supporting apprentices, guiding, and empowering the next generation of transport professionals.
We are proud to be recognised in this way. We are London’s largest bus operator, running 26 per cent of the capital’s world-famous red buses from 17 garages. Since 2018, over 3000 colleagues have joined our bus driver apprenticeships scheme. Many more have also joined our Technical Apprenticeships programme too.
The Go-Ahead Group was named in a ranking supported by the Department for Education, as the fifth best Apprenticeship Employer in the UK and as the leading apprenticeship employer in the transport and travel industry.
