We are looking to recruit an experienced receptionist to job share a role at our busy Recruitment & Training Academy in Camberwell. The main responsibility of the role would be providing a friendly and professional welcome to all visitors to the Academy.

The successful applicants must be able to communicate effectively, be computer literate, and have a smart, professional manner. We are looking for two individuals who can work well without close supervision.

Previous experience of reception duties or a role where you were frequently dealing with people face to face is desirable. Full training will be given.

As a Ferry Driver, you will be a key part of our operation, ensuring our bus drivers are transported safely and efficiently between Sydenham Bus Garage and various locations at the start and end of their shifts.

Driving a non-PCV company vehicle (maximum 8 passengers), you will follow a set route and timetable, providing a professional and friendly service while ensuring the highest safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Safely transporting bus drivers between designated locations, following the set route and schedule.
  • Providing excellent customer service to colleagues, assisting them with queries about ferry timings and stops.
  • Ensuring a safe and comfortable journey by adhering to all company driving and safety policies.
  • Carrying out pre-service vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
  • Maintaining a high standard of driving and complying with all road safety regulations.
  • Always acting as a professional ambassador for Go-Ahead London.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid Category B (car) driving licence with a clean record.
  • Able to pass a suitable driving assessment and medical.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with Drivers’ Hours Regulations, health and safety rules, and other relevant legislation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience & Knowledge: A strong understanding of a control room environment is beneficial.

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator who has a methodical approach to working and a good eye for detail. Ideally you will be used to using Microsoft Office and full training on internal systems will be given, so you must be willing to learn. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate a good standard of verbal and written communication skills and have a good standard of numeracy. More important is your ability to keep confidential information relating to the colleagues you are working with, and we would expect discretion at all times in relation to sensitive issues. Finally, you will be able to work alone unsupervised and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach.
